Testimonials:
"The Optimize your Health Program for School Administrators is a tremendous team building opportunity that provides for individual health awareness, while encouraging school administrators to adjust their habits for a healthier lifestyle that impacts their daily work. The program provides school leaders with a needed focus on their personal health and shares positive habits for on-the-job wellness." KT Spencer, Superintendent Onslow County Schools
"Thanks to Susan and Cheryl I have become aware of my own health, from identifying ways to limit or handle stress to realizing a need to monitor my own health. As a result of this opportunity I have developed better eating habits and reduced my blood pressure. Thank you for opening my eyes and giving me a means to improve my health, not just for me but my family as well." Tim Foster, Principal.
“Being an educator is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week calling. It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to touch the lives of children. But, along with the many blessings that come with the territory, it’s a life’s mission that often finds you with a great deal of stress to haul around. The ‘Optimize Your Health” program has helped me in a variety of areas that directly impact my physical and mental well-being. I have changed the way I grocery shop, spending more time reading labels and investing in whole and organic foods. Exercise has become a regular part of my week and I continually look for ways to work it in, knowing how much better I am going to feel when I make time to move and breathe. There’s nothing I’d rather do than to spend my days with precious children and talented educators. This class has allowed me to enjoy my profession without the weight of unmanaged stress.” Lori D. Howard, Principal
