Mpls., MN. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Augsburg College, Mpls., MN.

During the past 10 years Cynthia developed and implemented an acupuncture program serving both inpatients and outpatients at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Mpls., MN. She devoted one day per week to the treatment of chemotherapy side effects. Cynthia left her practice in 2006 to go cruising with her husband, dog and cat; returning in 2007 to settle in Pamlico County.
