~Health Tip
As the weather heats up, stay hydrated with this Ayurvedic electrolyte drink,  A healthy alternative to Gatorade.  Ayurveda is known as the "sister" science to Yoga, encompassing the medical and nutrition arm of this ancient discipline. 
Recipe
1 teaspoon of natural cane sugar, coconut sugar or maple syrup
1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lime, lemon or orange juice
Pinch of salt
1 Pint of room temperature water
Combine all ingredients and stir until dissolved.

While water is the best daily beverage to keep us hydrated and healthy, consider drinking 8-16 oz of this electrolyte mix BEFORE an activity that requires you to be outside in the heat or even a yoga class if you tend to overheat easily.  Dehydration can sneak up on the most mindful of us, prevention is very important!
