Knees Hurt?

Researchers at Wake Forest University found that losing a single pound could result in a 4 lb reduction in pressure placed on one knee joint per step during daily activities. Now if we expand that, we see that the accumulated reduction in knee load for a 1 pound loss in weight would be more than 4,800 pounds per mile walked. It's no wonder that our knees take a beating as we age.
How many steps do you take in a day?  Now imagine the good it will do your knees to lose 10 pounds or more .
